Verayu LaaS API provides an extensive feature set for “location intelligence” (refer. http://docs.verayu.com/documentation for details). Highlights of the API features pertaining to Yantra device control is given below:
- TraceXtreme: Ideal for “path tracing” – with the lowest error rate on mileage calculation (<2%), and the highest number of samples per second, also with the lowest latency of sample availability (<30s)
- TrackXtreme: Ideal for “tracking”, optimized for relatively low power operation, but with lowest latency of samples availability on server for “3P tracking” purposes.
- PowerXtreme: Power optimized mode of operation iIdeal for logistics use cases (battery operated configuration), with a sample every 15mins and battery life of 5+ days
- PowerMax: Same as powerXtreme, but with a sample every 90mins and with battery lifetime of 15+ days
Set Callback URL: External ERP systems can setup a custom URL to receive critical events such as panic button push, RFID card swipes (optional), battery down alert, device disconnection alert, and location reach/ leave alerts.
Geofencing/ Route Association (triggers programming): LaaS API users can make use of the extensive “trigger programming” features set to manage complex geofences, setup alerts when devices enter/ exit/ halt for a specified duration within or outside a geofence. Refer “Geofencing and Route Association” application note for further detail
Set Data IP: Change the IP address to which device data is sent to. If the device data is redirected to a different server IP address (not inside Verayu), then the LaaS API set will cease to take effect on the device (contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details), and also cell-tower based lat/ lon translation will also not be possible.
Cabconnect (IVR): It is possible to open various features of Verayu’s tracking module, through Cabconnect (IVR). This includes allowing approved 3P’s to track the vehicle simply through a voice call, make cab bookings (part of Routematic employee transportation module), raise a panic alarm and so on. Refer IVR programming section in LaaS API for further details.
